Jack Fish (from October 2003)

Dr. John H. Fish (Jack), was saved as a teenager while watching a Billy Graham Crusade on TV. He earned his BA in Linguistics from Brown University, and his Th.M. and Ph.D. from DTS, and then came to teach at Emmaus in 1969. Jack is the editor of The Emmaus Journal, coaches the Emmaus soccer team, and for the past six years has led the Summer Missionary Exposure Teams (Summex) to Europe, China and South America. He also serves as an elder at Asbury Community Chapel, and frequently speaks at assemblies, conferences, and camps. Jack and his wife, Nancy (Nock, 1961), have four grown children: Jack, Cyndi, Steve and Randy (all alumni). An avid fitness buff, Doc Fish can frequently be seen around Dubuque either riding his bike or jogging. His desire for his students is to see them go on to live for Christ and walk in the truth.
