Ethan & Heidi Johnson (from June 2006)

Adjunct faculty members, Ethan and Heidi Johnson, live just over the border in Platteville, WI, where Ethan serves in Music Ministry at Community Evangelical Free Church. Ethan and Heidi each grew up in the Midwest and met at Northwestern College where they both majored in music education. They taught music in elementary and middle schools in the Twin Cities before moving to Platteville in 2001.

Heidi has been teaching voice lessons at EBC since September 2002. Ethan joined the music faculty in September 2003 and teaches Guitar Class, Praise Team, and Principles & Methods of Music Ministry.  Ethan’s responsibilities at church keep him pretty busy most of the time. Heidi helps out with special music, choirs and praise teams. She has also taught private voice lessons, and currently directs a children’s choir in Platteville. But their main responsibility these days, and the source of their greatest joy, is their two children: Amelie Marie (2½) and Isaiah Ethan, born on February 9^th.
