Mark Stevenson (from October 2003)
Mark R. Stevenson, the youngest member of our Bible faculty, is also an Emmaus graduate (1994). With his M.Div from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, he returned to Emmaus as Registrar in 1999 and then became a full-time Bible faculty member in 2002. Mark and Tonya (Barkhurst, 1991) have one son, Jonathan (1½). Mark also keeps a busy schedule on weekends preaching at various assemblies. Having been raised in Canada, it is not surprising that Mark is a very good ice hockey player and actually played on a team that won the gold medal at the USA National Games in 2001. The best thing about teaching at Emmaus, Mark says, “is the great people, great vision, great students, and I get to study the Bible all day!”
